Question....why is CSC/TEXAS consistently churning out K1's yet Vermont is at a stand still?? Is Vermont Also servicing Nebraska Service Centers K1's???? From before July 31??? If they are...shouldn't we include those prior to July 31 on our list here? Those approvals would also count as VSC approvals since thats' who is servicing them. Texas forwarded to California right?? And Nebraska to Vermont??? Am I correct? If we want a more accurate idea of the noa2's and work coming out of VSC...i personally think we should include Nebraska petitions in our numbers.....May be a bit more encouraging to. :) Correct me if Im wrong....any ideas would be helpful. I feel like we are just at a stand still and i'd rather see slow daily movement then NOTHING....

vermont only started taking the texas service center states after july 31...this should not be affecting those of us who filed before that time...people who filed after that time will never have sent their petitions to texas, and will have sent them directly to vermont...so they should be included in the list already

the new petitions are not the reason for the delay, its something else

I wasn't suggesting that new petitions were causing the delay. My understanding from another thread here was that the service centers have BEEN handling these petitions this way but Petitioners were still to use the OLD way to file till July 31. My understanding was that Vermont was getting Nebraska and CSC was getting Texas...either way CSC is Churning out those k1's...what is the hold up with VSC??? THAT is the question. I may be wrong but im pretty sure that these centers HAVE been getting the extra K1's without a slow down.....but VSC is almost at a standstill while CSC is on a roll....why.......

well that is definitely for sure...this is the first time in history that VSCers are jealous of CSCers...we have absolutely no idea what is going, and literally NOTHING is happening...just to clarify, previously CSC was recieving petitions from NSC and TSC...vermont was just recieving petitions for VSC...probably part of the reason why they were always so quick with approvals...as for nowadays, who knows

No approvals from VSC since August 2nd?!?!?!?!?!

i thought that there have been no approvals since July 31...did i miss an NOA2?

I think everything you said above is correct, in general, but what with the recent changes things aren't necessarily going according to plan

we, for example, sent our I-129F package directly to VSC, as instructed on the USCIS website, and it was only when I first used the tracking number from the back of the cheque that I found it had been sent on from VSC to CSC (no, no idea why either)... so THEN I went and changed the service centre info on my timeline here (and started posting in the CSC thread)

and we're not the only ones this happened to

so:

1. it would be a bit dangerous to assume ANYTHING, as USCIS aren't even following their own publicised rules at present

and

2. other people may have also had their cases forwarded elsewhere, but may not have realised yet

hope that comes under the heading of 'any ideas being helpful' ;)

it's something to think about, anyway...

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.
