yeah..jsut when we thought...

Im holding my breath...our petition is in the next weeks work...and they seemed to have stalled...

Im sure we will see people posting approvals again today or tomorrow..its still very early.....

Well do not get too excited....I called my Congressman's office and the VSC is having a training/rah rah session day....in fact for the last 2 days....as if they are not far enough behind now they are having training....so unless there are contractors working I would not expect too much today...Lora

Maybe training is a good thing? Just trying to be optimistic! :)

I guess....It is so rainy and dark here that I am trying but at 165 days I am starting to loose it again....Lora

The lack of approvals this week is a BIG disappointment but at least there is now an explanation.

Thanks for digging up that information Lora. :)

No problem....but I am really wanting to go to Vermont and have someone there look me in the eye and explain to me why it takes 6 months to do these applications.....and the may/june ones are not the bulk of the increase......It is July and August that have the most........OMG I am just not sane today...Lora

It is so ridiculous that you are still waiting Byron. What are they doing at VSC, cutting down trees to make the paper, so they can give you a special NOA2. I am sorry you are you are in limbo. Hang in there and good luck!

Sorry to hear that too.

At least we have a reason for the lack of activity the past couple of days. This reason is better then them prioritizing something else before us again. Maybe after the "rah-rah" they will be more motivated (although that ####### never works).

I've been thinking......

If the adjudicators were in training, "rah-rah" sessions....How did some get an approval or RFE during this time???

Im thinking that the adjudicators do the work, or open the RFE's after they are stamped as recieved and work the case...As they work the cases, these files go to a data entry department??? Then that department enters in the approvals, RFE's sends letters, ect. As the adjudicator goes on to the next case. This would explain why we got an approval on Tuesday and touches, and RFE today yet supposedly they are in "meetings" all day? Maybe the meetings were to pass out the chocolates??? Hmmm

Im sorry to hear about the RFE Melinda.

Maybe they are too busy eating chocolates and some adjudicators are training the newbies and grab some cases show them what to look and approved them or touched them.....just a guess....hahaha!

Maybe training is a good thing? Just trying to be optimistic! :)

Training is of course a good thing, but what I think this means for the immediate future is that we're going to see a number of 30-or-so-day approvals, since they seem to use recent ones for that, and it's going to be very frustrating.
