No no Mirla.

EVERY petition goes through NVC. Every NOA2 has that wording on it. The petitions have to go through NVC to get the new case number.

That is correct. I was told by USCIS operator that mine was sent directly to the Consulate. That wasn't the case. A week later it was sent to NVC. So don't believe them if they tell you your case can bypass the NVC.

05/07/2007 : I-129F Sent

05/29/2007 : NOA1

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

11/16/2007 : HCMC Received Case

11/17/2007 : HCMC Sent Packet 3

11/20/2007 : HCMC Received Packet 3

12/10/2007 : HCMC Called Fiancee (Packet 4 Sent + Interview Date)

12/18/2007 : Packet 4 Received

01/02/2008 : Medical Appointment

01/09/2008 : Interview passed!

01/29/2008 : Visa Received

Yes Mirla, i got 2 emails from CRIS that they have received the RFE and the Website has also been updated. Mel had called several times to find out whats going on but they dont want to tell us anything. All they say is that we are still within the 60 days and if we dont hear anything after the 60 days we should call them. The RFE was a proof of name change, i had 2 maiden names, my biological father's name and mystep father's name.

I don't know what they are still waiting for but i know that we all gone get our APPROVALS! God's time is the best!

I didnt provide the names, i just forgot to put the proof of name change into the package but maybe you are right.

LAtest VSC stats for November = 23 approvals!!! Wooooohoooooooooooo!!!!!!

Ummmmmm, I don't want to rain on our collective parade, but I don't understand.....

When I run a report looking for Nov NOA2 receipts, I only come up with 20. Am I doing something wrong?
