08/09/2007:RFE due to a publc Notice made in 2006.(I finally figured out why until Sep,17,2007)

08/20/2007:Touch(got an email from USCIS,our case has resumed) due to the RFE strick call,also the officer said whenever you got a blue paper from us,that doesn't mean RFE,a green one mean RFE.in our case,we got the blue one.But still sucks,delayed our case,wasted our time.

08/21/2007:Touch(not due to the phone call)

08/22/2007:Touch(not sure due to the phone call or b/c i change the password at the same day so got a touch)

08/23/2007:Touch(not due to the phone call)

08/27/2007:NOA2 APPROVED

12/05/2007:Instruction packet received

Here are some more Visa Journey VSC statistics that might help spot trends. Remember that these statistics only reflect Visa Journey Members. This table lays out well in my Internet Explorer. Hopefully it will do the same in your browser. If not, please let me know.

Latest modifications: 8/4/07 10:10 EDST I discovered that data was missing first and last day of each month due to the way VSJ searches the timelines. I did research again and entered corrected data.

Observations:

  • K1 applications are processed much faster than K3's.
  • It is difficult to identify any trend patterns for K3 applications.
  • So far there is no evidence of a spike of July applications from Visa Journey members to beat the fee increase.
  • Processing times have increased significantly since January, 2007. K3 applications submitted in February are the only exception to this.
  • So far May 2007 K1 processing times are shorter than April 2007, but it may be too soon to make many conclusions. Since a lot of April and May petitions have not been adjudicated yet, processing time for both will ultimately be greater than is shown now.
  • In 2006 K1 processing time increased every month starting in January, peaked in Aril and then trended downward the rest of the year. There is no guarantee 2007 will follow the same pattern.
  • Despite the perception that VSC processing has slowed, the 2007 K1 processing time is the same or less than it was in 2006 when compared to the same month. It is too early to determine if May, June and July will follow this pattern.

OMG!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA ....I'm #93 on the list! :lol: That is really so hilarious! :jest: When I look at it that way, and realize that there are others who aren't on VJ, it feels like I'll never get an NOA2. BUT, I am now ON the list! :dancing: C'mon VSC process the peeps in front of me quick so I can move up the list! :P

I changed everyone's name to lowercase, so I could remove some duplicate records from my list.

Also, I wanted to get back into the limelight, so I increased the number of NOA2s that are shown. I am now #18 on the NOA2 list.

Thank you so much for the list,i am #9 on the list.you are so lucky only wait for 2 months to get approved ,i have been waiting over 95 days since i got NOA1.I am wondering for thouse who wait so long for the NOA2,is that b/c we stuck in the FBI name check ? I am so confused...

08/20/2007:Touch(got an email from USCIS,our case has resumed) due to the RFE strick call,also the officer said whenever you got a blue paper from us,that doesn't mean RFE,a green one mean RFE.in our case,we got the blue one.But still sucks,delayed our case,wasted our time.

08/21/2007:Touch(not due to the phone call)

08/22/2007:Touch(not sure due to the phone call or b/c i change the password at the same day so got a touch)

I won't complain at all...I saw the CSC post with this information..and based on my noa1 date...I'd be about 215 on THAT list so 59 on the VSC list is just fine and dandy with me. :thumbs: But....i wish VSC would start picking up the pace a bit...at this rate it will take us 6 months to get our noa2!!! I really thought after the 5 approvals on the 31st they'd start cranking them out.

Average processing time for the last 5 K1's was 91 days. Oh how I long for the good old days of late 2006 and early 2007 when average processing time was less than 30 days! :crying:

I had been thinking it would take us 90 days to get our NOA2 because we filed just before the fee increase, but now I am concerned VSC will continue to slow down.

Oh well, nothing to do but wait and see what happens! :clock:

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned
