Holy Moly, no touches, nothing. Just an email this morning that an approval letter was sent on November 4th. November 4th, since when do they work on Sunday? Who cares, I have the email and the USCIS website was updated to reflect the same thing.

I don't think there is any fixed length of time. Some people get approval fairly quickly and for others it takes a little longer.

In your case Byron, I am hoping that all the touches means something really soon

I am really p*ssed off about this. Sorry, but I am! I know I'll sound like a two year old here, but it is so unfair that they are approving these later filers knowing they have such a huge backlog.

Do you think they really mean NOA1 and they are mistakenly saying NOA2?

Does anybody off the top of their head know how much time is added to a petition when you get a RFE????

Keep in mind they sent it, I got it and sent it back the next day, they received it and then i got 3 touches...thats where it stopped....I just hope that they dont actually have a disclaimer that says that once a RFE is issued there is something like 30-60 days additional to the 6 month adjudication commitment...

Byron, call that good for nothing lawyer of yours to see if your NOA2 is in her pile of unopened mail! Ohters have reported getting the NOA2 without the website updating or an email. Worth a check since you did have all those touches!

Calling her is the most frustrasting thing to do!!!!!!!!!!! I wont get anything out of that lady...I'll get...." You know ill call you as soon as it arrives" .....This has become such a nightmare!!!! Besides USCIS being all screwed up..my lawyer sucks!!!!!!!

I just called the automated line to see if i could see what time frame they have after they receive the requested evidence...it said i should expect to have an answer within 60 days!!!!

SHUT UP!!!! I dont believe it 60 days. That does not seem right.

I know what you mean about the holidays. Did you decide to buy a ticket or wait for the interview? It went so quick for us after the NOA2 and I hope it goes quick for you too

Im not a CEO so there is oh so much time off i can take..

I have already one to see Leidy 4 times in Colombia and met her in Panama 3 weeks ago....so i have to use my time wisely.

as for the 60 days...that's what the machine says...so again there is no rush on their part to approve me...they have 50 days still...

Those of you counting, USCIS received our application on June 8th and sent our NOA1 on June 11th, touched us on June 13th.... a long 5 months of nothing and then an NOA2 November 4th.

The first real June approval from VSC, hope they start approving June filers now.

It never ends!! The worst part is what u said....i could be approved and not have a clue about it.....This agency is a gov't agency?????? What kind of proffesionalism is this...And to think like i have a million times...they just raised prices...an A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was wondering the same thing Jason....I had a DUI 9 years ago..

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think it could only make a difference if the beneficiary had a DUI.

I was also wondering the same thing last night...Pat had a DUI 10 years ago....but someone told me it doesn't matter if it happened more than 5 years ago....Byron, if you already got a RFE and your DUI would've been an issue I think they would've asked you por reports, last disposition of judge, etc. So forget about the DUI and be happy!

Byron, keep thinking that your RFE will come very very soon!!!! Bundy got it after 13 days and remember also what that ex adjudicator from NSC said about petitions with RFE.
