Byron and Mirla (F)(F)(F) just so you know the guy who used to be an adjudicator said that when they receive the answer to an RFE that´s what they tend to deal with the first thing in the morning since it´s an old petition and they wanna finish that before they start other work...so don´t worry Byron...you know they always keep saying these dates and terms to stop you from calling  Mirla will you have to "attack" your lawyer the way Byron had to do it to get the RFE letter from him/her?

Good luck to everyone

Well, the good thing about this is that I don't have to attack my lawyer for this letter cause Pat will get the RFE letter from VSC, he also got the NOA1 from VSC due to my lawyer is not listed under my case......don't ask me why but we found that out a month ago.....I'm glad in some way cause I don't have to attack him and look for him to get the RFE.

You're also right about the ex-adjudicator from NSC....he did said that and I also read it but I think I'm being weak right now...

Mirla,

You are one of the STRONGEST women I know. You are entitled to a weak moment. Go wash your face....and look at yourself in that mirror. And repeat after me...I AM strong, I AM going to get this noa2 SOON. I AM not going to give in to the moments weakness. I AM healthy. I AM happy. I AM lucky to have this man love me. I am WOMAN...I am MIRLA...hear me ROAR!!!

Then go get 'em tigress....

Thanks amrssnowangel!!! Like I said before, your posts to Byron really touched me and this one also did! You're right, it's only a weak moment. Thanks for that post....I really needed! I gotta be strong....

you know when Amr and I go through a hard time...we try to find a way to make a game out of it. Right now his dsl is out. So we have a bet going on as to the date and time it will be fixed. WE sms a "race" type report. We are tracking a fedex package i sent out...same...betting on where the package will next be scanned at (what country) and what time. If we are both out and on way home...we sms and "race" each other home. WE have a contest to see who can ring the other the most in the day we can't communicate as normal. Or find a project to work on together...at same time. WE keep movies on hand..the same ones..and will spend some time watching "together" when dsl out...... be creative. Run a contest to see how many days to work your RFE or how many touches before you see APPROVED. Create a Bet out of what date and time u think you will see APPROVED. If it doesn't happen make new bet...say...if you win, he takes you to the nicest restaruant hof your choice here in USA the first week you come.

If he wins...u bake him cookies and send or sth....who knows...just ideas to get through.

No matter what...BE STRONG. You can do this...you have a wonderful man that loves you...when we look back...this will all seem..so small...the song by Carrie Underwood goes:

What you got if you ain't got love

The kind that you just want to give away

It's ok to open up

Go ahead and let the light shine through

I know it's hard on a rainy day

You wanna shut the world out and just be left alone

But don't run out on your faith

Cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing

Is just a grain of sand

And what you've been out there searching for forever

Is in your hands

And when you figure out love is all that matters after all

It sure makes everything else seem

So small

It's so easy to get lost inside

A problem that seems so big at the time

It's like a river that's so wide it swallows you whole

While you're sitting around thinking about what you can't change

And worrying about all the wrong things

Time's flying by, moving so fast

You better make it count cause you can't get it back

Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing

Is just a grain of sand

And what you've been out there searching for forever

Is in your hands

Oh, and when you figure out love is all that matters after all

It sure makes everything else seem

So small, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Sometimes that mountain you've been climbing

Is just a grain of sand

And what you've out there searching for forever

Is in your hands

And then you figure out love is all that matters after all

It sure makes everything else

Oh, it sure makes everything else seem

So small

Hugs to you Mirla and Byron...you two hang in there.

an odd VSC approval has just appeared at the top of the list - Camilo and Margaret, Argentina, down as having received their NOA1 on September 24, and their NOA2 on November 31

now, that last is clearly a typo, but I wonder what the real date was? and if they're truly late September filers than that's another one completely out of the blue at VSC

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Of the last 10 VJ VSC K1 approvals, 3 were petitions filed in the second half of September. 2 of the 3 said they were not in the military. The third is has never made any VJ posts so we don't know if they had a military expedite. None of the 3 is from Cuba.

What the heck is going on in VSC?! Did they forget their first come, first served policy? Am I the only one starting to get annoyed by this?

No, you're not, but what are we supposed to do?

Everyone who calls gets piss-poor customer service, so I don't expect if we call up asking "Hey I filed in xx month why are people xx month ahead of me getting approved?"

However, if we all flood the email of the CIS Ombudsman...maybe we'll get some sort of answer.

Or we'll get more form answers. I'm not sure.

In any case, I don't imagine that calling VSC or USCIS is going to net any real answers.

no, Bill; hell, I'm annoyed and it doesn't even affect me

I can't think of any good explanation for it... people were talking about training, and a newer file being pulled for that; well that has never made any sense to me... and I can't think of any good reason they would do this on purpose

Annoyed? Heck yeah Bill! And somewhat bitter too. Here we are at months and months of waiting and these people are getting approved at around one month. As I have said before, so much for processing petitons in the order received. While I am glad to see approvals, I really believe that those of us who have been waiting so long should take priority!

I am with you Jason....Our appliation went in June 5....then nothing.....I callled the lawyer we used and got this answer......

Hello Lora,

We expected your case to be approved already, but ever since the USCIS changed so many of their procedures around, it is hard to tell.? As far as we can tell, nothing is wrong with your case, they have not requested any further information – so that is a good sign.? Right now it’s just a matter of waiting for it to be approved.? I have contacted USCIS numerous times and they always say that they are processing from April – but we have gotten approvals for petitions filed after that.? We will let you know as SOON as we hear news.

and that is all folks.....No one even the lawyers unerstand what is going on in VSC land.........Lora

that HAS to be an expedite, yes? (apologies in advance if they've already said something about it; I just get my information from the lists on VJ, and it's the newest addition...)
