1st, I want to humbly apologize to everyone who read my post and thought that I was only wishing July Posters well. THIS IS NOT the case. I simply copied and pasted my post from the July Filer's Thread to this one. I simply forgot to edit it. I am sincerely hoping and praying for each and everyone to get their approvals soon. I am also hoping that the "backlog" will clear soon, and VSC will get back to processing Visas as fast as they once were.

2nd, Thank You to everyone who has helped and supported us thus far. It is comforting to know that there are others going through the same trials as Belen and I. I also want to say thank you for all of the congratulations. It feels really good to get each and every one of them.

Lastly, for those of you who thanked me for serving my country. It is truly appreciated, and I am humbled by your support. I mean this from my heart of hearts. The reason I lace ‘em up and do what I do is because of the support that I have from people like you and the guy standing next to me. I keep in mind that it is your brother, sister, son or daughter who is standing next me. I will not fail them and I will not fail you. Trust me on that! You may not think you can trust the government on much, but please know you can trust military to be there when we are called to duty. We owe you that much!!! Thank You all once again.

I am honored personally to have you represent us through the military. My son in law is a Marine. Did 4 tours in Iraq. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope your case goes quick and your sweet Belen can be with you VERY soon. You need that. You need to know she is HERE at home waiting for you...Good luck...and God Bless you. I know all to well what our military men go through, give up and risk to do their jobs while I sit safely at home. Also for the good spouses that support them. Belen must be something special. A military spouse is a remarkable spouse. Not everyone can do it. Congratulations to you both. (Marine by any chance??? )

we are 11 days away from 6 months....we are the ones who set the petition to Texas (this is our place to send) they forwarded it to CSC and then two weeks ago they sent it to VSC. I have called and VSC still has not received our K1 and it was sent OCT.19....we have talked with our congressman and they are supposed to be sending a letter...

SO WE ARE NOT SURE WHAT IS UP WITH ALL THIS !!!!

May 5-sent I129f to Texas and they forwarded to CSC

May 11-priority date according to NOA1 on Hard Copy

May 14-received by CSC...notice sent (never received)

May 15-money order cashed

July 19-called about Hard copy..said they would resend

July 23-lawyer calls and is told application is lost and to resend application

July 25-sent a duplicate application to Texas and it is forwarded to VSC

July 27-called again...said they would resend from CSC

July 31/aug.3/aug.6 "touches"

Aug. 16 received the NOA1 from VSC for duplicate application

Aug. 16-called about Hard Copy...said that they would resend (3rd time) from CSC

Aug. 17-"touch"

Aug. 19-FINALLY RECEIVED THE NOA1 HARD COPY for original application from CSC

October-19-CRIS sent message that they were moving our application to VSC?!?!?

(seems USCIS sent our first application to the wrong center)

November-16 origianl is at the VSC

Dec. 3-congressmans office calls VSC...will be processed by July application date

Feb. 6-APPROVED!!!!

Feb. 7 sent to NVC

Feb. 13 sent to MONTREAL...WRONG EMBASSY!!!!!!! SUPPOSED TO BE VANCOUVER!!!!!!!

Feb. 14 arrived in MONTREAL

Feb. 20 talked to NVC center....supervisor will try to "catch" the application call back in 10-15 days

Feb. 29...talked to the State Department (Visa)...they had NVC send cable today to Montreal instructing them to send packet to VanCouver

March 4...K visa application received at VanCouver

March 6 packet 3 ARRIVED

March 10 packet 3 checklist and DS230 faxed back

March 12 medical exam

March 20 packet 4 received

April 8....interview date

I'd change your processing center to VCS in your timeline..so you are included in numbers Bill pulls and others look at. Thanks

Another illustration of how USCIS is making life easy as pie for illegal immigrants...i'm sorry...the pc term is nonimmigrant.

I just called VSC, and they told me the usual bullshyt 30-60 more days. Meanwhile....nonimmigrant H and L visa holders awaiting permanent status, get to breeze in and out of our country without showing any type of receipt anymore.

Sounds like somebody in Congress is trying to make life easier for one of their family members or something...

June 8th - I-129F mailed to VSC

June 13th - NOA1

November 9th - NOA2!!!

January 10th - APPROVED!

January 24 - Pick up visa

January 31 - Honey arrives in US!

February 28- Court marriage

May 2- NOA1 for I-485 and EAD

I JUST WENT TO MY REPRESENTATIVES OFFICE TO DROP OFF THE PRIVACY STATEMENT SO THEY CAN DO A INQUIRY INTO MY CASE. THEY CALLED RIGHT AFTER I LEFT. IM APPROVED. THEY JUST GOT DONE APPROVING ME WHEN MY REPS OFFICE CALLED THEM. I WAS DRIVING AND HAD TO PULL OVER. I STARTED CRYING .NO EMAIL YET AND THE WEBSITE STILL SAYS PENDING.
