I just checked out the Sept filers thread, Congrats to Evan & Carly (aka ophelia783), they got approved in 32 days from filing. No word on if it was expidited or military yet.

Bloody hell fire, I am demoralized by that approval. Don't get me wrong, I am happy that people are being approved, but so many of us are 3 - 5 months into this BS process without a word. It just really makes me think, #######?????

No kidding, I dont know if it is a joke or what! On one hand, I hope it is a joke, and on the other I dont. Someone more VJ savy may want to do some digging. Most peoples packets that I have seen have been signed for at Vermont by P. Novak, but this one was signed for by A. Seo. I mean no disrespect to Ophelia783 if this is for real, I am very happy for them because they dont have to go thru all this BS.

I feel like poop now. My fiance and I were discussing earlier tonight how happy we'd be if we get the NOA2 by the end of November. And then a miracle happens for someone else. It just kinda knocks the wind outta my already sagging sails.

We received our electronic notice of NOA1 on September 27th, the same day our cheque was cashed, and received the hard copy of it on October 1st.

According to everything I've seen of a NOA2, this is it. I'm not really sure why USCIS would send us two electronic notifications 28 days apart for the same thing, so I sincerely doubt it's a repeat of our NOA1, especially since an NOA1 is the receipt, and the NOA2 is your approval - you can clearly see that the e-mail was for an approval of the I-129F petition.

To all the people who are hurt and/or angry by this, I'm sorry, and I hope the process moves much faster for you.

All I can personally say is that I never expected it to happen so fast.

edit: In response to previous posts, we did not get or ask for any expediate process, nor are there any extenuating circumstances to our case.

His latest post is above. He says it is the real deal and there was no expedite or extenuating circumstances.

It was a mistake then. Someone mistakingly placed that file in the wrong box. Or maybe adjudicators do it for kicks.... knowing how it would drive others crazy!
