Can someone tell me again what's the procedures for calling VSC (what's their number btw) and get someone to talk to on line? I'm really fed up with the waiting. I'm on my 150 days at this point and it has never been 'touched' as far as I can see from USCIS website :protest:

Here are the steps for the RFE trick. It will get you through to talk to someone at VSC:

1-800-375-5283, 1, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1, EACxxxx, 1, 1.

Good luck!!!

Everyone always seems to get a touch just after the NOA1 is received. I'm not really sure why that is.... That's the last time I got 'touched' anyway :(

I'm not sure there is any logic when it comes to USCIS

The touch could mean anything but lets cross our fingers and hope that it is good news :)

Hmm, I don't know either.. Sorry, I got completely mixed up on dates then

It could be that they looked at it for some reason, you could try calling them and doing the RFE trick? But who knows, it could also mean that it was moved to another desk...

There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason for the way the USCIS do things!

HAha - as much as i'd like to hope - there are far too many people ahead of me for me to start hoping from now! But keeping our fingers crossed - that i can do! I saw in your tentative timeline that your not going back until July - If i waited that long i'd be waiting for a year. I think once I really am assured that it's not going to happen soon - I am going back and getting married there - living for 6-8 months and then coming back here, husband in tow. You have much more patience than I thats for sure!

I know it is a long time and my fiance HATES the idea of being apart for that long but it does give us the opportunity to have a wedding at home with both families which is a miracle in itself since my family lives in 2 different countries and we can all make it in July  . So I figured, why not have the wedding then and then come back together?

For me, no biggie.

It took a little to convince my fiance  but in the end he agreed.
