139 day processing time...oy vey

i can't help but think of all the people who went through the entire process in 5 months, and i will more than likely be waiting for my NOA2 that long...miserable i tell ya

on the bright side, we now have seen 9 approvals for the fine month of october...this is 1 more approval than we saw for the entire month of september...and we've still got 12 more days to go! at least we're improving here, kids!

I will be at 5 months on Monday and still no approval. Way back in May when I filed my petition, I was hoping to have my fiancee here by Christmas. Obviously that is not going to happen. Even after getting approved, there is an additional month wait for NVC as well as the wait time for the Embassy. I have been told three times this week my case is with an officer. I am still hoping to get approved this week though (got to think positive)

Tried it and they said another 30 days...but as I have been saying all along I am not surprised at all. I won't be surprised also when they change the 6 months to a date beyond 6 months and when people are waiting 8 months for a NOA2, I won't be surprised. The only hope we have is that someone in congress, senate, or huge media support turns it for us.

Here is the latest USCIS Application and Receipting Update hot off the presses.

I am very disappointed to see that they are not even caught up on receipts yet! The price increase surge was over 2 1/2 months ago. Unbelievable.

Yeah, they are almost 3 months still behind on some...

I ask myself why VSC has so much delay compared to CSC, it seems me that if VSC has delays ( because of people from Irak, fees...), we should have seen much more delay from CSC ( God blesses all filers from CSC).

There are some illogical things somewhere.

Sorry for my english

WOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! Sophia, it was really freaking me out that they "touched" you on 10/16 but weren't approving you. BUT GREAT..... CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In email, I actually received TWO CRIS messages. So I think their email system is messed up. Some people get none.. some people get two... go VSC organization!

OK, Mirla..... you must give them a call ASAP!!! After your approval, I will be able to rest at night when justice has been served.

I called and they said it should be about a month more. The rep was sympathetic though and even said he don't know why he can't offer premium processing to me as he said he does all the time for employment based petitions. This whole concept drives me mad.

Then I just gave some congrats to someone with CSC who didn't even file until June 8th, and the petition even had to be tranferred from NSC to CSC and still got approved already. Happy for them and sad for us who have waited so long.

Congrats Soch. You sure waited long enough.

Folks,

CNN Anchor Lou Dobbs has a strong interest on immigration issues. You can read more about his views on the links below:

In any case, I have his offical email and am happy to post it, if you'll are interested in emailing him. I have emailed him earlier this week, and if we send him several emails, he may investigate this situation that we are all stuck in.

Let me know!

WEIRD... I just got home and found the NOA2 in my mailbox too and it says Notice Date of Nov. 15 and is actually postmarked Oct. 17 (the day before I called).

My suspicion has been confirmed... Soch's and my petition were in the same pile laying somewhere in the back. ;)

I anxiously wait to know if perhaps Pat will be getting one for Mirla today.......
