How about this for a thought...

Why didn't the VSC and CSC brilliant management in June and July when they saw the K1/K3 processing times going through the roof, simply start FEDEXing some box loads to the Texas and Nebraska service centers and let them help out until they got caught up on receipting, etc?

Let's see, I guess looking at the TSC processing times, they didn't want to make all these 2 month and less employment VISAs to have to get delayed, nor the 1000/month Iraqi refugees coming in per month...

Hey!

I saw that some of you were wondering about why we got approved so fast . And i can only answer...I have no idea! My fiance is not in the military, we didn't send any nude pics :P:D , we didn't contact a congressman. Actually we did nothing exept waiting. And we were also prepared for a much longer waiting.

I can only explain it that we maybe had a very good organized petition, a lot of proofs and we both had no "complications" in our past, like previous marriages, children, a lot of relocations and so on. Or maybe we just had luck :) .

And ja, you are also right that everything is in the moment very fast for us. I have already received the pack 3 from the embassy in Germany.

I hope this helps a little bit!

I really wish you all that you will get approved soon as well! I know how frustrating it is :( .

Thank you for taking the time to clarify as you could have just went on with your life without doing so for us. It does prove how screwed up they are at VSC that's for sure.

Good luck to you guys!

Not to be sickeningly positive but on the bright side you're past 5 months, so they will probably try to keep under the 6 month mark to CYA making you very close to NOA2. I actually envy you since i'm not expecting approval until closing in on 6 month mark. ^_^

Jeez, VSC is killing us here...CSC had some more approvals today (which by the way I am very happy for them as even waiting since June is too long). They are obviously working June at CSC as the last 8 of 10 have been June NOA1 dates. It makes no sense what-so-ever, the CSC web site shows April 12, 2007 as though that is what they are working, which is more than 6 months ago. VSC shows 6 months, which should technically be better, but their service is certainly not bearing it out. I am burnt out on this all...goodnight all. May tomorrow be a better day...

My guess is she took today's date and subtracted 6 months.

I am trying to remember if I ever saw a post where a customer service rep told a member something useful and accurate. It seems to me they either refuse to help, recite USCIS policy or provide information that turns out to be incorrect.

Based on what I have seen so far, I think calling them is usually a waste of time.
