In other words, don't bother calling us or taking action until your case goes past the 7-month point, assuming they are calling 6 months the "normal processing time." I wonder, was it considered the "normal processing time" in March and April when they were turning them out in less than 30 days?

Yup I wonder why?, why didn´t we sent the packet in January....?? :crying: , surely now we would be together in the US, or at least with the appointment close.

Well, another day goes by, today is the 139th  , will we have to wait till 210 days (7 months) to get the NOA2 when a few time ago only was 30-60 days ¿¿?? , Do we something wrong sending the packet in may instead of in january, february or march...... ?.

Anyway good luck to everyone.

I've been looking for ways to to keep myself occupied while waiting for my petition to be processed, so I compiled this list of I-129F VSC filers with NOA1s waiting for NOA2s. The data is from the VJ.com timelines, and specifically from the reports available on the timelines. The number I have listed to the left of names is simply the sort order based on NOA1 date.

Obviously, we have no idea what order VSC will process NOA2s (once they start processing them for us again) but its something to help pass the time.

That's good news too. I don't remember them being posted here for approval.

I'm about at the 4 month mark. I think my senator is Hilary Clinton. I wonder if that's a waste of time. She's preoccupied.

The Senators have staff that handle these things....I'd contact them soon and get your authorization letter to them. Get to know the case worker...remind them its elections and you'd love to see Hilary do well. (IF thats true)

CONGRATULATIONS ANN AND CORY!!!!!!!!!!! I never saw that..Makes 7 approvals this month... thats an average of 1 every 2 days..they need to pick up the pace...but at least its moving..and these last few days its been one a day....

GOOOOOOOOO VSC!!

She may be preoccupied, but she also needs to be elected. i would work that angle and take advantage.

Have a good time. I've been wanting to go to Ghana but can only afford to go for a weekend myself and feel like spending $1000 for a weekend is much too extravagant for my middle class budget. I really miss my Bassi though..... :( Maybe I can live vicariously through your weekend with your sweetie.

GOOOOOOOOO VSC!!

Actually I think VSC has had 8 approvals this month if you include K3's. There have been 7 K1's & 1 K3. For the same period, CSC/NSC/TSC combined have had 58 approvals.

Yeah I think you are right. VSC needs to pick up the pace big time. They are building up a big backlog and they will soon be beyond the 6 month mark.

Does anyone know why BridUSA (Luva & The Skinny Viking) is on the fast track? I want to get on that track also!

Sent date: 6/21

NOA2: 10/2

NVC received petition from VSC: 10/9

Consulate received package from NVC: 10/12

Received package 3: 10/16

They are a month or more ahead of the pack waiting for NOA2's and since they received their NOA2 they have been flying!

Their only post says:

"I have no idea why it went so fast for us. We are a normal couple like so many other here. I feel a little bad for that when i see that so many people who had filed before us are still waiting! "

I wish them continued good luck, but boy I wish we could all be so lucky.
