Idea for those of us watchng for an email; many cell phones can be setup to alert you anytime you receive an email from a specific person or website; I have my phone programed to notify me anytime my fiancee writes and anytime I receive an email from USCIS

It is a big help not to need to wonder all freaking day long if you have an email. I admit, it is the best part of my day when my phone tells me I have a n email message from Alla. Sometimes I feel a little psychic-I can feel she is thinking about me or writing me because I will get an email notification 5 minutes later; never believed much in most psychic's but I do believe we can be "in-tune" with our loved ones.

I hear you Byron, but as I said before in a couple of posts, a fairly reliable rumor has it that VSC does not plan on getting to us May filers until the 6 month point (November) due to "other priorities." The very low rate of approvals since September 1 seem to prove this right. This ###### is killing me...the only thing we can hope for is that one of our letters is heard by someone with some power to influence VSC. BTW, even though the primary topic for the teleconference is receipting, it will spread over to other USCIS issues as it has in past teleconferences with specific topics. It seems they just pick a primary topic for each teleconference. I was just looking at the timeline of a guy who filed just shortly before us and his fiancee is already preparing for her interview. Granted it isn't Korea, but I see some of you other May filers have fiancees from the Philippines. I am so pissed with VSC right now...

maybe my point was missed; this frees me to go do work outside in the yard and other tasks with having to come check the computer every 30 minutes or so; I know nothing has come in because I have not received any messages.

Without a doubt, everyone needs to bring up what Bill wrote.

Please stress that we all want family based petitions to be put in front of employment ones.

There is no reason that spouses, fiance(e)s, children, relatives, etc, should have to sit in another country, twiddling their thumbs, while people simply looking for work are being approved lickety-split.

Do they not realize that our future husbands and wives will be just as good a taxpayer as those who are coming only to work?

I don't know what their justification is, but this has got to stop.

Make this point loud and clear. FAMILIES FIRST IN THE USA.

I wrote both of my senators not long back, and God bless him, Senator John Warner, ®, has written me back, and he didn't use a form letter!

"Thank you for your letter concerning your concerns about the dleay in processing time for K! and K3 visa petitions at the Vermont Service Center.

In an effort to be of assistance, I have contacted DHS, USCIS to request a review and response on the issues you have raised in this matter. As soon as a reply is received, I will share it with you.
