It's about all we can do...I see in the CSC thread those folks are complaining because they have "only" had 6 NOA2's this week...of course, we can't even say that, nor can we say even 1 yet. I don't hold no animosity towards them. I am happy they are getting some service from their Service Center and will get to be with their loved ones without more delays. Us VSC folks on the other hand have only had 1 out of the last 50 VJers NOA2's from USCIS and our last NOA2 from VSC came on 27 September ...pitiful

Hey :P of course we are complaining :P it´s out of sportsmanship...we have a sweepstake going on...

But yeah seriously this is no fun...not just for VSC filers but for CSC or the ones that were transfered to CSC too. I don´t know how many people work on our cases at different places, but lotsa people have to postpone their planned wedding dates due to what´s happening and that´s no fun for anyone no matter where you filed. I hope everyone gets at least 50 approvals a week starting from this week :dancing:

Hi All,

I know exactly what VSC filers are going thru currently...

Not to sound bad and I really am happy from my heart for everyone who get their NOA2(regardless of the sevice centers coz no one deserves this long of a wait) but after reading some of the previous NOA2 comments, I couldn't resist and have to post this. Maybe just to vent and rant for myself and it probably wont make anyone else but me feel better but here it is for whats it worth:

We had ONE K3 NOA2 out of CSC between the period of 09/15 thru 09/30 and I believe there were a total of 11 K3 NOA2 for the whole month of September. After some delay, most of the March CSC K3 filers were done by end of August but the month of September hardly saw any April K3 NOA2 clearance. Thats just sad and heart-breaking

Ok rant off :) Wish everyone here all the very best and good Luck for a speedy NOA2..

i don't know what to say anymore... :( i was gonna ask the same question... how many days can we endure??? well, lucky are those who will be with their SOs soon regardless of NOA2. as for some, like me for example, i will not see my SO until he is allowed again to have his next vacation which is 6 months from his last visit here. So now, i'm just looking forward to have my interview in january or february so he could go with me.

while I was walking to work this morning, I thought of the saying 'hope long deferred makes the heart sick'...

we WILL get through this, but I can tell we are all becoming sick of heart; it's so very dispiriting :(

at least we can encourage one another, and at least we know there WILL BE an end, and a happy one... sometimes hard to focus on that though, isn't it :(

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

A picnic in Regents Park sounds lovely! Sadly I cannot attend since I am meeting up with a rather handsome Brit a bit later today! Maybe next time!!! :P

I've been up and down during the 70 some days since our petition arrived at VSC, but today, NOTHING can get me down!! :D:D:D:D

i agree... i wish i could go to the Central Park with my SO and then go to Serendipity III restaurant to have some frozen hot chocolate - he hasnt tried it too!!!!!! :( but im here at the other side of the world and my SO is heading to work while I'm going to sleep soon... Lucky are those who are only separated by borders on land, while most of us are separated by waters, and while one has a sun above him, the other one has a moon above her. have you ever wondered why the world is round(well not actually round as the theory says) and the lands were separated that used to be one (as the theory says too)??? no matter is the reason, isn't it strange???? i know it is strange but i also know it's wonderful. Life is full of wondrous things like love. And I don't think we would ever appreciate it this way if everything had not been like they were. this long process is ok... at least we know that there's still sunshine behind the dark clouds. it's normal to feel sad, but , never give up. we will all get there.

Not to discourage anyone relative to contacting the media however, I would be very surprised if any one of the producers at MSNBC took an interest in this particular topic relative to VSC. I understand that VSC is a nightmare, been there done that and posted it in the RFE thread, however VSC will back themselves up with "they are in the posted time frame".

If you are interested in the media route I would try CBS Evening News as the first step. They are National and they have a segment on the 6:30 Evening News entitled "Eye on America". A few years back I did an interview for that segment entitled "The War at Home".

Keep in mind that before any reputable journalist or producer takes on a story you need to provide them with concrete proof (not just in words) that there is a problem. Although we are protected under the Constitution of the United States relative to Free Speech and Freedom of the Press...we are ultimately a law suit happy Country. I think to some it is an instant guarenteed lottery!

Your best bet is to start with your Representatives Office. Demand that as a constituent you want your concerns addressed or you will be looking at a new candidate at election time. Remember they work for youyou do not work for them. Your hard earned money pays their salary. My favorite to use "my time is valuable yet I took the time out of my already busy schedule to vote, as my representative can return this in kind by taking the time to address any concerns that I may have".

You may also want to research those Senators that are taking an interest in Immigration Policy, Practices and Procedures......

starting with the Library of Congress....

http://www.whitehouse.gov/infocus/immigration/ FYI

On an ending note..it took over four months for our NOA2 but as I have said at the end of the day the material point is regardless of the wait (as hard as it is) we will ultimately be together.
