I know it's like so late to reply to this but...Thanks!!  I'm having a great time here with her.  I don't get to use the internet but a few times this whole trip, but I'm trying to stay up-to-date with everyone's posts here.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all of us still, even from the other side of the world.  Especially for all you May filers still waiting.  Being here with Sasha is making this very easy right now, but next week I'll be as blue as a smurf in Smurfuary!  peace, everyone.  God speed to all!

Hello all,

Just an update on all the letter writing I have done to elected officials, etc. One of my senators sent an inquiry to the Department of State and my other senator sent one to the Department of Homeland Security. I also received a short reply from the USCIS Ombudsman, which I posted here below for you to see. I have also written the USCIS complaints office at USCIS-COMPLAINT@DHS.GOV

Who knows if all this letter writing will help. Maybe a little, maybe more probable it will help later filers than me. That's ok though. I don't think anyone should go through the NOA2 wait like us May filers are. Good luck to you all and if you haven't written letters/emails yet, please do so.
