So i just called... the RFE trick did not work. She (Debra) did not even ask for my case # (which they have asked me for in the past) she just said, wait for the RFE letter to come in the mail... blah, blah, blah. so i thought I would hang up and call again (hopefully, get a different person) but... Someone on here (I forgot who) said they were told that they call too much so I guess they keep a tally of some sort.

Hang in there everyone...your time is coming :)

Well, according to the following thread, one of the couples on bszoom's list was approved at some point and is already stateside on the K1 visa. Its Ian and Anne. I found this thread:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90140

I have requested that they update their timeline, so hopefully they will. One more off the list though! We all move up one place!!!

Way to go eagle eye! Now see if you can find another 100 like that so I can move into the top 10. ;)

:hehe: If only! Cos if you're in the top 10, I'd be near #1!!! I'm pretty sure they're not the only one's who haven't updated their timeline! I realize not everyone is as obsessive about VJ as you and I are, but I really, really wish people would update their timelines!!!

Historically there are not many abandoned timelines and I always assumed the ones who did abandon them were probably rejected or decided not to get married. Given those circumstances, I can sort of understand why they might not be motivated to come back to VJ to delete their timeline. But to be active on the site and not update.... That is just wrong! :o

This site is so technologically up to date that I would expect them to have a run done regularly and email people who haven't touched their timeline say in 6 months. Then if they don't respond to the email, make them inactive so that they don't skew the data we little breathe by unless they formally request to be reactivated.

C'mon VSC....give us something today.

Oh please, that probably is the correct address. I wouldn't be surprised if that is how he purposely is handling it. :help:

Hmm. I just double checked and the address matches the address that I found online. Weird

All,

I guess given this office's role, Alfonso Aguilar would probably not be much help anyway. Below I will put his office's role and another office you should write instead.

His office's role:

The Office of Citizenship, within U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security, is responsible for promoting instruction and training on the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and providing immigrants with information and tools necessary to successfully integrate into American civic culture.

Its primary focus is to provide information and resources to immigrants at two key points in their journey towards civic integration: when they first become permanent residents and when they are ready and eligible to begin the formal naturalization process.

Strategic Objectives:

Enhance information and educational opportunities provided to permanent residents to support their integration and participation in American civic culture.

Promote education and training on citizenship rights, privileges, and responsibilities for immigrants interested in becoming U.S. citizens.

Infuse citizenship-related ceremonies and events with greater meaning and stature.

Besides your elected officials, it wouldn't hurt to write this office:

Assistant Chief

Internal Security and Investigative Operations

USCIS, 111 Massachusetts Avenue, NW

Suite 7000

Washington, DC 20529

or email: USCIS-COMPLAINT@DHS.GOV

Hi Soch,

No need to worry. You have rights against Government retaliation. Freedom of speech is not totally absolute, but it is protected against censorship and/or punishment. USCIS cannot diminish our freedoms guaranteed to us by the U.S. Constitution and this has been proven in numerous legal cases throughout the history of the US. US citizens have the right to express their views without retaliation from the Government. Why? Because you are free to exercise your freedoms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights—freedom of speech, expression and press—to criticize a Government agency’s service. US citizens have a right against government retaliation and have the right to speak out without retaliation.

Most law experts agree that the primary reason for the First Amendment is for people to be free to criticize the government and its officials without fear of retaliation by the government. Despite our many problems, the US is a great country to live in and be a citizen of—exactly what many of us are trying to do with our loved ones.

At least he's not still erroneously on Bszoom's list. Kinda crazy though how some got the old VSC super service, while others are languishing in this process months later.
