Got engaged on the quarter deck on one of the newest Navy ship 10 - 03-2007

20-04-2007 the journey begin

I-129F Sent : 22-05-2007

I-129F NOA1 (Receipt) : 25-05-2007

Traveled to stay with Ryan until we get the approval 13-09-2007 to 24-10-2007

I-129F NOA2 (Approved) : 27-09-2007

Package Received By NVC : 04-10-2007

Package Left From NVC : 08-10-2007

Received By Consulate : 12-10-2007

Rec Instructions (Pkt 3) : 15-10-2007

this thread is now making me miserable...this used to be a happy place...####### happened?!

i know everyone is high strung because there are no approvals right now, but come on...ive been waiting 87 days now, some have been waiting longer, some less...lets just play nice...wanna write a letter or 20?...DO IT...if you dont want to, then DONT...if you want to debate and argue, theres plenty of that going in the Off Topic forum...you can discuss anything under the sun...that is not what this thread is for, and quite frankly, its depressing...

until i see some movement at the VSC ill be browsing about, trying to keep myself busy...some suggestions for anyone interested:

hahaha I had to comment on this one

1. read a book (or several) Check

3. learn a foreign language (your fiance's or a completely new one) semi-check...

4. start a small business...ill be guiding tours in NYC starting in November, if anyone is interested =) We might honeymoon in NYC maybe, haven't decided yet

6. excercise (join the gym!) Check

8. learn to cook (expand your horizons) Check

9. study the kama sutra (for obvious reasons) Check...lol....boy is he in trouble once we get married!!!!!!!

I hope you all receive some NOA2s soon! This wait for you is absolutely ridiculous, I was hoping none of you would have to wait so long! Trust me though, the wait for NOA2 is the WORST...but once you get it....it's one hopefully happy bit of news after the other! (Ok, AR/AP for ME/NA couples is hell too though I can't speak for the women who have been waiting months for the visa...but most of us found out about the possibility of that wait going into this process. It's one thing to be expecting months of waiting and another to expect a 30-day NOA2 because that's how fast they were cranking them out when you filed.....and you end up waiting 3- 5 months for it.)
