I've written letters to all major Television News Outlets, the big "3" nightly news networks, and even to HBO. It sure doesn't hurt to try. Took me a total of 2 hours. And guess what? ....I didn't even feel like it was a waste of my precious time. ;) Optimism, ain't it a b*tch??

Did u use the letter that was composed earlier on this thread or did u compose a separate letter for each place? I wanted to send one to my senators, etc.. but was wondering if ppl are signing the letter I read on VJ and sending that out ? Might be better if we bombard them(USCIS) with individual letters!

I just used the letter on here and edited it a little for each of the people I was sending to. People are sending to basically anyone and everyone who could potentially do something about this mess called immigration.

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

Any one else??? Wow...Im soooo down today...what's up with THAT???? I just look at the slow processing and feel hopeless today....mostly because the distance is killing me today...Im missing him soooo much. (And I was JUST there to visit!!!) :crying::crying:

I wrote my own. But I did reference the example here by Wendy. I was careful in explaining that what we really deserve are answers, explanations and forecasts. The waiting bit would be bearable if we had accurate and honest information. In no way did I come off sounding as if we've all been cheated or wronged. Simply we deserve better service.

I'm going to send it to USCIS (ombudsman), CNN, etc... not sure about NJ local govt, lots of corruption here these days. Just a week or two ago 11 govt officials, including town mayor I believe, were arrested for fraud.

i just finished writing my 8 letters...i wrote two letters to the offices of both of my Senators (Schumer and Clinton---DC and NYC District Offices), and two to Congressman Nadler (also DC & NYC District Offices)..i also wrote one to the USCIS Ombudsman, as well as the NYC Public Advocate who can be found at the following address:

im not sure if all cities have public advocates, but i know that the really large cities do...so if you live in NYC or LA, or something in that general (huge city) area, look it up and write to that person as well!
