Well, I am very excited for all these May filers we've been watching for so long! It feels good to see some fresh excitement in this thread. I'm also very excited about this new movement coming out of both centers. Everyone has watched as Byron's emotions have gone in all directions... .....and I'm happy that he is excited. I agree with you!!! I feel so frustrated and have this sh!t inside me and if I let it out now I won't be able to have a good night sleep....I'm just tired of all this #######..waiting over 4 months.....and meanwhile some june filer got approved some weeks ago....good for them but not fair for us! How much longer do I have to wait? I feel like my life is in a total limbo....I'm praying for all us, we have to start getting our approvals this week!!!!!! THIS WEEK!!!!

I think my reactions to it all are somewhere between Byron and Bill's.

I certainly feel happy to see movement in the K1 category, even if it's not all coming out of Vermont, however I do temper my excitement by thinking that only after guys like Byron, Mirla, etc, have been approved might we really be seeing something worth being quite so elated over.

So in conclusion, no rain on the parade, but let's not forget some of us are not even yet at our 2 month waiting mark

Like i have said before....this is like a roller coaster ride of emotions...I was in Bill's shoes at one point and was always negative...as time goes by that changes to anger then positive vibes....Its not an easy process!!!!!!!!! BACK TO CELEBRATING FOR THE PEOPLE APPROVED...i cant imagine what it will feel like...I haveto be happy for them!

guys, this is a great thread to visit; it's so GOOD to see you all so happy and excited... back-tracking a bit (I've been asleep ) - well done on getting responses from letters already! and yes, while they will definitely have an auto-reply (or at the very least, an auto-bits crib-sheet which they can refer to and steal paragraphs from), if the US is anywhere like the UK or Aus, all their stats will reflect that someone has written to them on this issue, and what they want to happen; this raises the issue on the political agenda

by the way, those of us from the CSC thread (yes, I'm a renegade) were celebrating earlier for the VSC approval(s) so that cuts both ways; I'm glad we can be united on this

the VSC's average processing time has gone down for the first time in a VERY long time (months)...it was at 124 and thanks to the recent approvals, its at 118...still pathetic, but good news indeed

I don't understand, all these moves to NOA2 and I see the VSC estimated timeline dropping... but my date keeps getting pushed out. Yesterday, 10/10 this afternoon 10/12 now 10/13. if it's all based on vj info, why is my date going further away...

Unfortunately, just because there are approvals, it doesn't mean your date will get any closer. While there are no approvals and no updated VJ timelines, our dates held steady because there was nothing to change. But once people got an approval, a new number got added into the statistics of how long it takes between NOA1 & 2. And if that number was big (say 130 days, just for an example), then it's going to push the average to a higher number as well, thereby also pushing all of our dates later to match that average. That's also why when the Iraqi petition went through in just 65 days all our dates got a bit closer.

I got that right, right? Makes sense?

And on another note, I got 3 letters out this morning, to Gonzales, Aguilar, and Khatri (the ombudsperson). Tomorrow I will send 3 more to Clinton, Schumer, and my rep, Clarke. I would have sent them all out today but I ran out of envelopes. Whoops.
