Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?

I just got approved in Vermont on 9/17 (I think it is NOA2?). Vermont received our request on 5/26 and cashed the check on 5/30. Thought I would let everyone know. Good luck to all.

Thank you everybody for such nice posts and I appreciate the kind words. I have checked in to this site semi-frequently since I joined and I have been following the progress of other people in this thread and used it to judge my own progress. I understand how painful the waiting and not knowing can be. I only hope my little update has brought renewed hope to those still waiting for their NOA2.

Good luck to everyone in getting a positive response back from the government soon. You'll be very glad when you do.

There is another thread where Captain Ewok says to correct the NOA1 dates, he scanned a NOA1 and explained that in I-129F sent you have to put the date of "Recieved Date" that appears on your NOA1 (hard copy) and in I-129F NOA1 you have to put the "Notice Date" that also appears on your NOA2.

I don't think the first part of that is quite right. If one edits their timeline they will find no instructions for what to enter as the sent date, probably because they are not needed. VJ wants you to enter the date you sent the petition without any creative definitions of the meaning of the word sent. In addition to approval times VJ also tracks how long it takes to get NOA1's so of course the date the package is sent is the starting point for that measurement.

If Ewok said something else in a post than he forgot to update the timeline instructions.

Welcome. It looks like you are in the group that they are adjudicating now, so try to hang in there.

One unsolicted word of advice. Assuming you are really applying for a K-1 as your timeline says, stop calling him your husband as you do in your signature. If either one of you refers to the other as your spouse in an interview it can cause real problems. You do not want to find yourself in a situation where you have to prove you are not already married.

US Wendy, thanks for sharing...progress in the other post area too that you initiated, seems the veterans even started fighting with each other a bit so a mod locked the topic...unreal, funny how they were just trying to "help" yet many (not all to be fair) resorted to attacking people and making impolite comments...meanwhile they crawl in bed with their loved ones while many suffer thousands of miles apart. Well, I don't want to dwell on it too much or someone will lock this topic too.
