Hey everyone, I was curious as to whether anyone has had their biometrics appointment scheduled since the ASC’s reopened? And if so, when did you receive your NOA?

I'm haven't heard anything since they processed my fingerprint fees since 4/26/2020. Plus we are in San Francisco and due to the high volume in San Francisco, pretty sure its pretty backed up. If anyone got a Bio Appt in SF please share.

I have a feeling that this will happen a lot. When did your ASC open? Have you called and asked about an appointment to see if you have one scheduled?

It opened July 13th, so I knew it would take a while, but its sad to see that they´re going 'out of order'. Is there a number that I can call directly for the field office or should I call the USCIS hotline?

Its usually the hotline and they can go from there.

My husband hasn't gotten an notice, but they opened on the 27th in my city so We except it to take a little (our original appointment was March 18th I think). What is interesting though is that I searched our case numbers on the uscis case status and it said on the 28th his EAD and travel application was approved? Though. when he logs into his uscis account, it isn't updated to show the cases approval.  I am a little confused since I thought the biometrics came first. While we are excited that he might be able to finally work soon, but we will wait to celebrate until the approval arrives in the mail!

My NOA1 notice date is 06/04/2020 and my ASC (Elizabeth, NJ) reopened on that same date. I haven't received any biometrics notice yet, and seeing from other VJers they've been waiting longer than me.

I've seen a lot of comments about the MyUSCIS account site not having updated information on a person's case.  Where did you search to find out that your EAD and AP were approved?

I have definitely seen several VJ people comment that they received AP / EAD approval without biometrics, so apparently indeed it is possible.  Please update us when you receive the card in the mail, and let us know where else you were able to search to get the status information.

Thanks,

Mark and Sandra

Hi all,

I talked to a live agent on the USCIS website this morning. I am waiting to hear when my biometrics appointment will be scheduled. I was told the National Benefits Center handling my AOS application have requested a interview be scheduled (with the Chicago office). Does anyone know how long it could take until I find out my appointment time and date?
