Vaccination Requirements

Perhaps unsurprisingly the vaccination chart on the US Embassy London web page is a screen print pdf and the genius who did it managed to chop off the detailed descriptions at the bottom of the page.

I only got 2 vaccines as listed. For varicella, I opted to do the blood test as I was quite sure I had chicken pox before though I don't have vaccination record. Then my blood test showed enough antibody so I don't need that vaccination.

The UK doesn’t normally give the varicella one as the vaccine isn’t normally available. If you’ve had chickenpox as a child they’ll take your word for it and otherwise waive it as the vaccine isn’t available. 
 

Your GP can give you the booster shot for TD.

I needed the Boostrix and the MMR (Measles, Mumps, and Rubella). I took the shots when I was at the medical exam.

Thanks - I guess there is always the option of just letting the clinic do the required vaccinations for you.
