Hello everyone,

I filled out for my mom in July 2020, haven't received any notice besides NOA1, I know it ia taking long so I'm not worry about that, but I have a question about the Affidavit of support I864.

I'm a mother and student, my husband was the only one working at home and reported around $30,000 on our tax return (we filled jointly).

Know I am working and our household income has increased, we will probably report around $55,000 for 2020.

We are a household of 4, our 2 minor kids, my husband and I, counting my mother which is abroad 5.

Are we still be needing a co-sponsor, or is it goint to be enough with our 2020 income even though the previous 2 years we didn't meet the poverty guidelines for a household of 5?

Got a RFE on January 22nd, my birth waa registered 3 years after I was born, due to this they are saying my birth certificate is not enough to proof that my mom is actually my mother, anyways I am planning to submit the secundary evidence they are asking me for online in mid February, hopefully they wilk review and approve the case soon.

Ok, well the RFE indicates that they are actively reviewing your case. Hopefully you can respond soon and get your approval. Since I can't tell from your timeline, do you mind sharing which service center and NOA1 date for your IR5?

Yes, planning to send them next week.

I can submit everything online right? That being said original documents are not necessary, am I right?

'Cause if my mom scan everything and send it to me it will be quicker, I have to translate everything and that will add up more time.
