My case number starts with WAC19901XXXXX I am March 2019 Filer & I have filed N400 as well ( March 2020). No significant movement at all on I-751("will schedule an interview" since beginning) except finger scanning for ROC card. Weird part is when I check 100+ cases on the top or the Bottom (through Serial numbers) majority of them have been approved and its very disturbing for me, Should I expect a COMBO Interview or its just a ROC delay due to Covid19. By any chance, can I call them and ask them about delay (if someone could share any pro tip for contact) this journey ending is very frustrating. Please suggest me a solution, thank you for your time and care :)

Removal of Conditions

The interview has a lot to do with the workload at the local USCIS office.  Unfortunately USCIS doesn't publish the wait times for individual offices.   I know that here in AZ some Phoenix cases were being sent to Tucson for interviews - pre covid.   Now all out of processing times are 35 months.

I'd expect (err hope) your interview would be a combo but again it is up to the field office.   Best to try not stress out about it. Hopefully you won't have to get another extension letter.

There is no harm in calling USCIS and see if you can get a tier 2 officer. He might have a more accurate information for you. This I believe you should do before they are all furloughed starting early next month.....(praying Congress step up with funding for USCIS though)

Same scenario as my brother and niece. They were recently sent a letter extending their GC for an additional 18 months. Came in the mail this week. Also a March filer.

Correct March 2019. They were given one last year. And a second extension this week for an additional 18 months.

I'm really curious to see the second extension letter. If correctly, the extension should be 36 months on it.

Never heard of a second extension letter. Must be something new.

If the new letter says the same as the first one (ie that it's extending the proof of status for 18 month past the expiry date on the greencard) then it's just a mistake and useless.

It’s not about what you’ve heard it’s about what actually happened. Please do not attack my intelligence to know what was mailed to my home and what I read. Thank you.

I would suggest checking the tone of your message in the future because it can deter a person from responding and sharing in the future.

Wth? There is no tone, you're clearly reading things into the post that aren't there. I said "Never heard of, must be new". Let us know what the letter says, as this is new to many of us.

Is it just another copy of the letter you already received last year?

Hello. I am WAC 19902... and I did my bio on Jan 15, 2020. There is no any update since then. I spoke with my attorney, he is one of the 5 stars attorney in LA, he told me just wait. Of course I could apply N400, he said, but it would not make faster my case at this time. The reason is the C19 and another things that I don’t know.
I got my 18 months extension on Jun 22, 2019. Sincerely

I agree with @Paul & Mary. You will probably have a combo interview.

My wife filed her I-751 in Jan 2019, and her N-400 in Jan 2020. her naturalization interview was 2 weeks ago. The I-751 was never mentioned, but changed to approved online the next day. In the Jan 2020 N-400 group, only about a third of the members have had interviews scheduled. None of the 5 members in California have been scheduled yet. Follow the Jan, Feb and March N400 filers groups an you will probably get a good idea when your interview will be scheduled.

Naturalization Timeline

01/05/2020.......Filed N-400 online.

01/07/2020.......I-751 transferred from Texas Service Center to Lee's Summit.

01/31/2020.......Biometrics Appointment.

03/06/2020.......Interview Scheduled 04/16/2020.

06/16/2020.......Interview Rescheduled 07/08/2020

07/08/2020.......Approved

08/20/2020.......Oath Ceremony

I think the filing of the N400 added more to your overall timeline. With N400, you will need an interview and so your case could have been moved to your local office sometime after you filed ie after March 2020 when all the covid lockdowns happened. So your local office could be working on skeletal force or closed due to covid plus they could be backlogged already to begin with. Could be why you haven't seen any movement yet.
