Paul and Lily,

I presume that Lily got the EAD stamped on her I-94?

When Lily files for EAD in conjunction with her AOS, it will not be a renewal of the EAD she already has. That EAD stamp at POE is based on Lily coming in as K1. The new EAD that she is applying for will be based on her AOS, two different basis for eligibility.

Lily will not be able to work (legally) until she gets a new EAD. It has been a while since I've kept track of EAD processing times but you can check on other people's timelines here and the USCIS processing times.

Paulily,

You cannot renew her 90-day K1 EAD. She will apply for new - not renewal - EA, as an adjustment applicant, concurrent with or after applying for adjustment.
