Hello everyone, we got our i130 already approved (filed online). We have sent our AOS package yesterday, unfortunately, we missed one very important document. Birth certificate ( proof of US citizenship )  for I864, we have already attached that with our i130 application. Is our application going to be return due to that or will the be able to take that document from our previous application? Thanks!

Did you include copy of US passport by any chance? I think it works the same as Birth Certificate.

Not needed. See I-864 instructions page 6:

Item Numbers 11.a. - 11.c. Citizenship or Residency. You must provide proof that you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident for joint and substitute sponsors and for relatives of employment-based immigrants who file Form I-864. Petitioning relatives who have already filed proof of their citizenship or immigration status with Form I-129F, Form I-130, Form I-600, or Form I-600A do not need to submit proof of their status with this affidavit.

Also you’ve posted in the Adjustmemt of Status forum, but in your case, you mean Affidavit of Support when you mention AOS in your topic. You aren’t not doing adjustment of status so this is the wrong forum.  NVC is where you are right now in immigration steps, so use this forum https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/83-national-visa-center-dept-of-state/

Ok. I looked at your profile and it said IR1/CR1 visa. I guess you skipped the visa?  Maybe adjusting from VWP?

No, long story short, I was living in London we filed for CR1, I came to visit my husband in California, received NO2  that indicated that we applied for AOS not consular processing, we called USCIS and spoke with a supervisor then a  manager called us twice saying that they are willing to send our application to NVC without form i824 or we can go ahead with AOS, we went with AOS. I just didnt change anything on my profile yet. :)
