any official source? the ban's expiry date is 31st i guess.not embassy's opening date.there is no official news from any of their official paltforms

The ban is not for spouse of U.S citizen.

I got mail from Islamabad embassy they said 

Additionally, On April 22, President Trump signed a proclamation suspending entry into the United Sates of certain immigrants who present risk to the U.S. labor mark during the economic recovery following the COVID-19 outreach.  The proclamation remains in effect until 31-Dec-2020 and prevents consular officers from issuing new visas to certain immigrants.

It says the “proclamation” is in effect until December 31. It does say anything about the embassy. The embassy opening and the proclamation are two different things.

The consular will not issue visa who are ban under proclamation until 31 December! Spouses of U.S citizen are exempt from this ban. Embassy is open but I don’t know they are scheduling any routine interview or not.

Hey guys... so according to my keen research/assumption based on the stats on this website for PAKISTAN EMBASSY... I predicted the interview letters (IL) and Interview Dates (ID) for this year 2020: 

The interviews are basically held after one month of the IL's emails so I'll put a / in my predictions below (You can have 1-3 months in each +/-) :

1. If you got DQ'd in MARCH 2020 : You can expect IL and ID in October 2020/November 2020
2. If you got DQ'd in APRIL 2020 : You can expect IL and ID in November 2020/December 2020
3. If you got DQ'd in MAY 2020 : You can expect IL and ID in December 2020/January 2021
4. If you got DQ'd in June 2020 : You can expect IL and ID in January 2021/February 2021
5. If you got DQ'd in July 2020 : You can expect IL and ID in February 2021/March 2021
6. If you got DQ'd in Aug 2020 : You can expect IL and ID in March 2021/April 2021.
