My sons school is in a classroom and his old school in GA is also in a classroom so there are many schools out there that still have in school this fall.

Yeah, I figured the south would be the exception.

In our county starting school is happening (parents can choose to send kids or do online-a phase I)

but starts August 12th (less than 3 weeks)and the north starts 1st week in September (6 weeks)

even if immigration did allow this, no way could it happen in time / the logistics just doesn't allow this

Sound advice has been given but it is up to you if you want to request an expedite. I have seen some granted that I thought wouldn't be. All they can do is say no. Free to try.

Finally done...

Hello all,

I couldnt find if this specifically was answered before, but being that "School starting" is a reason to expedite a visa, does a child listed on K2 with my fiancee's K1 a valid reason if I can enroll them in school in United States and provide documentation?  It's not specifically listing college aged students, but I also wasnt sure if expedited process also pertains to K1/K2's.

The county is Ukraine.  I will try to contact them, but thought I would check here as well.

Thanks in advance!

And then people complain when it takes a long time to get a visa, clogging the system with common sense questions.

According to how it’s written, it does not explicitly say it’s not possible to expedite for elementary aged schooling.  It’s a simple yes/no question and forgive me for coming here for seek guidance. I hope the snarky put down made you feel better.
