By mail  ,to Phoenix AZ

The office received on 20 July

They have our address, phone number, email

But we didn't get anything

It's  been 3 days is it normal?

When I used to paper file, I didn't hear anything for at least a week or two. Now it could be even slower due to corona.

I had the same exact thing happen to me. Pd 12/23 Potomac. Well that's what I thought. Called a few weeks ago and was informed that my case was in Tx. I never was notified.

Called back a few days later and was told that it was actually in Potomac.

Called back again and it was back in TX. Come to find out my case was transferred to TX on Jan 24th. No notice or anything.

The best way for you to know is to submit an expedite request and the last 3 letters of the receipt number will tell you where your case really is, and even then be skeptical but at least you will have something in black and white to calm your nerves if that's possible at all during this process.

03/01/2008: Mailed N-400 to NSC :

03/03/2008: N-400 was delivered :

03/12/2008: N-400 was returned :

03/13/2008: Mailed N-400 to NSC Again:

03/17/2008: N-400 was delivered again:

Yeah! They don't send out notice for some transfers. It's best to inquire and ask tier 2 representative regarding the case, they have better understanding where the case is!

Try chatting first, go to uscis website and you will get an option on the right side to chat with Emma. Just type representative and it'll give you an option to chat with an agent. If it doesn't work, just call and confirm with an agent whether your petition was received or not.
