Visitation visa after filing I-130

Before we decided to get married my wife applied for a tourist visa, we were hoping she could come and visit and see what the US is like.  We found out after 2 failed applications that 95% of all tourist visa applications are denied.  We decided to get married and apply for the CR1/IR1 visa.  While we are waiting for the immigrant visa, is there a way she can come visit me here in the US?  If so what forms would we need to fill out and what is the timeline?

Tourist visa is her option.  Having a US spouse will likely not help her in her 3rd attempt.  I would make other plans to see each other during the process.

A tourist visa is her only option.  A 3rd attempt with a USC spouse will probably end in another denial.

95% s probably a made up statistic that is also probably accurate for Thailand.  However, it would be 100% for a single Thai woman with anything less than a very good job and some significant property and 100% for a Thai already married to a US Citizen.  Plan on the US Citizen doing the travel for visits during the process.  It just comes with the territory.

 

Also, lots more scrutiny of spouse visa applicants in Bangkok than for fiancee visas.  Be prepared.

She can try again,  It is pretty clear that she has immigrant intent now so I wouldn't expect a different outcome.

If she didn’t get it the first two tries and NOW has shown immigrant attempt the third try doesn’t look promising. Of course If you don’t mind wasting the money go ahead and apply- you will only lose the fee. FYI Thailand’s refusal rate for tourist visa is only 23%. My country is triple that. I would assume she didn’t have strong ties to her country.
