Hello all,

I am a permanent resident since 2017, I am married to an American citizen. In October 2018 I applied to remove the conditions (I-751). Everything has happened in the meantime: COVID, various executive orders, processing times that become longer every month, the administration that no longer prints green cards etc. After 20 months, I still haven't received approval of my case and I haven't had news for more than a year. The latest status available is that they "received fingerprints".

Even if I understand that we still don't even have an executive order out and that therefore any statement is the result of a presumption, do you think that people like me will be impacted by the reform?

Or will this reform be applied to the "new" green cards applications that will be submitted from when the law is passed forward, as for example it was the last executive order concerning the freezing of new green cards during COVID?

Thank you.

I do not have any problems, trust me. There’s a difference between being serious and being sarcastic! ;)
