I’ve been apart with my husband for 15 months. We are managing to have fun together despite all the uncertainty and frustration.

I’m not that type of person, who can stay alone for such a long time. This destroys me completely.

No. He wanted to come to the time of my interview  and we were so close to have it but it was cancelled and the borders were closed.

My husband wants to come to the time of my interview too, but I’m afraid I just won’t survive until that time. We are not DQed yet. If it wasn’t for the small mistake, I’d be waiting for my appointment date already.

It’s possible to come visit him in the US, but you would have to apply for a tourist visa, which is too a hard process and will also be quite risky, so, in my opinion, not worth it.

Hey, since you’re from Russia as well. Did you hear any news on the US Embassy in Moscow??

Look, I’m not an expert of course and I really understand your frustration about „stay patient and strong“ but from my experience it is a very bad idea to consider love as a sense of your life. There should be something else in the foundation of your life. Something you truly love to do for example. Because what if love disappears? What is going to happen to you? You already have so many problems because you sacrificed everything.

No news and no updates.

I’m learning about him coming here. I prefer to wait for my interview because a tourist visa is a temporary decision.

Soon we’ll hear some good news. :)

I prefer to wait for my interview as well, because a tourist visa is more trouble, than benefit. 👌🏼

Hard to have fun together, when apart for already more, than 7 months.

Many here have been apart for YEARS.

What is the risk?
