Australian Police Certificate Expiration date

Hi, Just want to ask the expiration of the Australian police certificate? Is it 1 year from the date issued or 6 months?

As far as I’m aware it’s assumed as 12 months from the date of issue.  I have mine and there is no ‘expiry’ date.  I believe 12 months is what is talked about on here.
