they want proof that i met her within 2 year and all the communication.. i have field on 2020 jan..they want proof from 2018 to 2020 jan

Have you got airline tickets? Itineraries of when you met physically? Did you meet face to face in Dec 2019 and filed in Jan 2020? Or did you only come to know of your fiance in Dec 2019? The time between meeting and filing is short that's why I ask. Where are you based? Maybe there are people on here that can help translate

Can you provide the specific details of the RFE? That may be helpful.

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁

This is a case I would recommend a lawyer if they want to get anywhere - OPs reading and comprehension skills could use some checks and balances. It’s going to be an even longer process..

Agreed.  With AOS coming down the pike, they will need even more assistance.

Duration of time from required meeting to filing is not a concern at the petition level.  It may be later on, depending on the consulate and circumstances.

For the petition, the only requirement is evidence of one in-person meeting in the immediate two years before filing.

yes i got that all. only missing is boarding pass. i got all the document

If you have passport stamp, boarding pass is unnecessary as the passport stamp proves you entered the country

You need BOTH the page with your photo on the passport and the passport stamp page

Otherwise they won't know who's passport it is :)

Im curious about this rule too. My fiance and I met 1 year before filling the petition but Im sure it will be more than 2 years without meeting  once the interview finally happens. The 2 year requirement also counts for your final interview or is it only for the time you send the petition?

thanks

Two years based on the day you file the petition
