I prefer Merlots of all types. I also love Plum Wines and Meade!

I LOVE Meade  Only trouble is it is hard to find the real stuff ("honey wine" isn't always actual meade, but white wine flavored with honey) for a reasonable price without having it shipped for a hefty charge.

My fave cab, but too damn expensive except for special occasions.

Best value on the market. Only exception is their gamay beaujolais IMHO.

/Two buck Chuck FTW

Yep, pretty good, and can't beat the price!

Cabernet for me.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

I love Merlots.

Have you seen the movie "Sideways"? ;)

Yeah, I've turned my nose up at Merlots ever since then.

It's all about the Pinot Noir now!

Rey and I actually were just in Solvang, California, where the Hitching Post is and all that. It appeared to have been really filmed there. Actually we wanted to stay in Solvang, having just seen the film and also for the camp factor, but it was WAY TOO CREEPY. If you aren't aware, Solvang is this completely Danish-themed town, actually settled by Danes in 1911 but now just a tourist attraction of sorts, as far as I could tell. The streets were empty despite the main street being lined with Danish-themed hotels. Rey and I went into a restaurant because we were starved, and it ended up being basically a Danish Denny's but called "The Little Mermaid," milking its location for all it was worth. The waitresses were old Danish women dressed up in what was presumably traditional Danish garb. We were the ONLY customers. We had to get out of there as fast as we could! We ended up overspending on a Santa Barbara hotel that we booked at 930 p.m. that night.

You should have went over to Buellton and had Anderson Split Pea Soup.

Actually, My Brother lives in Solvang. We do not visit much
