wow...one hour. they usually only allow 20 minutes per person. maybe ur interviewer wasnt busy that day or something.

In Jamaica you have 3 different windows to go to maybe she means the whole process. We were there for 2 hours in May.

Met Jan 1998, vows on 2006, Jay Jay born 2008, baby 2 - 2011

yeah thats how she is , cause she had another couple for about an hour.... anyway my lawery said if they put a gg # in yur passport yur good and she wrote it in and said we are waitnig for name checks

So, did she stamp your passport? It sounds like you're approved pending name checks. There's a whole thread devoted to this (search back a page or two). A lot of people get approved, but cannot get their green card until they are finished with their name check.

I missed that one.

Bailey28, were you told clearly by the adjudicating officer that your name check is still pending? Did she take out your I-94 and/or stamp your passport??

OK here is the story( i dont like 2 type) she said by the way your name check has not come back yet and she asked us more questions, then she looked at out taxes and saw mistake on it and asked us 2 go around the corner and get it fixed she worte my gc number in my book and pending and the time we should bring back the taxes( at the IRS, by the way i live in new york) the lady at the IRS was being a ###, and said she couldnt help we went back and told the adj officer and she said we have 2 get it in by 3pm, she saw the looks on our face and asked us 2 bring it in the next day and said i would get the CARDS (what cards?????) in the mail or a letter.
