She didn't separate you did she?

It happens to be panicked, I'm sure you're not the first.

Hopefully they'll decide that you are bona fide and follow through. Keep us updated.

They can be much tougher on people adjusting from a visitor's visa rather than the K-visas, because K-Visas are the correct visas for fiancee or spouse to enter the country with intent to immigrate, they can suspect visa fraud when a visitors visa is used like a K-1 visa.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

The adjucator may have been suspcious because you entered on a visitor visa - most of the time it isn't even brought up, but sometimes it is especially if the entry was very recent. It was barely brought up in our interview because we met 3.5 years after my husband entered on a B2. There's nothing inherently wrong about marrying on a visa other than K1, but sometimes they may suspect that all intentions were not kosher.

I don't see a timeline, so it's a little harder to figure out if this may be the case...

the IO could have just been having a bad day and decided to take it out on you, too. Who really knows? You'll have to wait and see.

So, did she stamp your passport? It sounds like you're approved pending name checks. There's a whole thread devoted to this (search back a page or two). A lot of people get approved, but cannot get their green card until they are finished with their name check.

I missed that one.

Bailey28, were you told clearly by the adjudicating officer that your name check is still pending? Did she take out your I-94 and/or stamp your passport??
