I used chrome and the documents are still there so I think you should be fine. But I’d be interested to hear what the phone call told you.

I called this morning and was told even though a line in my address was missing on what I could see in my profile, the line was visible on their side. The agent also advised that the documents were reflecting and if they need anything further they would contact me. My 18 month extension letter for my  ROC is going to expire in Oct 2020, I was told that 10 days before it expires I can schedule an emergency appointment at my local office if my employer needs the proof or if I need to travel for an emergency.

Hello everyone,

My wife got her Green card through our marriage 5 years ago. Technically, she was eligible to apply for US Citizenship 2 years ago...But, we procrastinated. No, we decided to apply this month.

While applying, we noticed under eligibility that we can either select one of following

1. Permanent Resident for 5 years OR

2. Permanent Resident for 3 years and married to US Citizen spouse.

I'm wondering which option should we select ?

Same thing. I decided to go with the 5 year. Maybe ask in some of the groups where people filed earlier?

I’m in the same situation as your wife. I applied under the 5 year rule. It seems easier since you don’t have to submit as much documentation

5 years. Degree of documentation needed is a lot less. I was in the same boat - procrastinated, too.

My wife just submitted the N-400 on 8/24/20 and the account updated the next day with estimated completion time June 2021.  Also, still waiting since  April 5, 2019 on status of scheduling an interview for I-751 (January 2019 filer, no RFEs), so with any luck the N-400 application will get things moving and she'll just have a joint interview.  The inefficiency of all of this is exhausting.image.png.7d030c6fc604aae7f291f7a4068fbbb0.png

I went with the 5 year rule. I’ve been eligible to apply for US Citizenship 10 yrs ago (too much procrastination 😁) and just submitted my N-400 tonight. 🤞

You aren’t the only one, though you have me beat for how long you’ve waited. What made you take the leap? The increase in fees?

I planned on filing the N-400 last June 2019 when I came across the online option and registered an account. Family emergency came up and I forgot about it. That’s still 9yrs of procrastination and I’m thinking of waiting another 10 yrs to file the N-400. Increase in fees is okay. I’ll probably be exempted of some requirements in that time (kidding 😁). Today is a good day to file: I was able to get my husband log out of his computer and he got me the information I needed.

Hi everyone,

When you uploaded scanned copy of Green card during application process, did you upload front and back copies as separate attachment or one single attachment?

I have front and back copies as two separate attachments. Is that OK ?
