Hey guys! Just letting you know that i'm so so happy! I had my biometrics today. So all i need to do is the interview, english & civics test! Yass!  --- sorry i meant to post this on the september thread. I follow both the august and september. I was too excited to post it that i accidentally typed it here.

when did you file? where is your field office? 

when did you get confirmation of everything? when was your appointment?

I filled mine last sept 4 (mailed in) and it reached them sept 5. My local field office is in imperial california. I got my biometric appoitment scheduled last sept 24. And i got my soft copy biometrics letter last sept 25. And i did my biometrics today. So yeah i was meaning to post my original message to my september 2020 filers.. but then yeah i was too excited i accidentally posted here too in the august 2020 filers since i follow your thread too. well.. not sure what that means then. I filed Aug 1st (a month and 3 days before you) and still nothing... All I got was the first receipt a week later or so but that's it.

Oh i wouldn't worry much about it. I'm slightly on a different timeline than everyone because i expedited my case. If it makes you feel slighltly better my best friend and her husband filed for an n400 last march 2020 from their h1b green cards and they are still in queue and don't have their biometrics yet. My husband and i are pcsing/leaving for japan and i need my entire process done by end of oct. But from what i've been reading lots of june, july, august and some september filers have had their biometrics reused and others are still waiting. And then a few here and there who go their biometrics appointment already.

I guess Houston is the longest city. My priority date August 13, 2020, and the estimation is November 2021. 😭😭😭

In your my.uscis.gov account, on the 'My Account' page. At the top of 'Your Cases', it shows the estimated completion time.

My case completion estimate went from August 2021 (11 months) to September 2021 (12 months). Looks like it is going to be a long wait. 😒My field office should be New Orleans although it is not showing anywhere in my uscis account.

At the bottom page, you can put your zip code and it’ll tell you your office.

Thank you! I checked and it is indeed New Orleans office. Their processing time is ~11 months to 19 months as of right now. Hopefully, things will start looking better once they start going through the backlog.

My office says 9-26 months 🙄
