I had my interview yesterday , it went well and I passed. I was then able to join the Oath Ceremony the same day and I am now an American Citizen!   Good luck to everyone still waiting!

Hi Friends!

Somewhat glad to be back browsing ALL the VisaJourney forums. :lol:  I remember our first application, K-1 Fiance Visa, like it was yesterday but 8 years have come and gone. Filing the N-400 wasn't a priority until I heard about the fee increase coming in October 2020! So, here we are, getting ready to file the last step. The goal is to file this month and get in line.... I hear the waiting period is long so might as well get the ball rolling.

 

Wondering if anyone has any tips on how to encourage my spouse to improve his English?? Should we delay filing until he's more comfortable speaking, reading, and understanding English?

Hello All,

 

Applied my N400 application online based on 3 yr marriage , was waiting for my 10yr Green card. as soon i received it i filed my application yesterday (Aug 3rd 2020) and i noticed today that it shows the Estimated case completion time:10 months.

I live in Denver.CO

Hi guys! 

Joining this forum today after I submitted my N-400 application 10 minutes ago :)). I'm in Raleigh, NC and as of today our processing time is within 6-10 months. 

By the way, I love the online application. It gave me a receipt number as soon I submitted it! I also used Google Chrome without problem.

2017-03-07 - Lawyer mailed out the packet to Chicago Lockbox office ----- (I chose this as my DAY 1) 

2017-03-09 - Application packet was delivered to Chicago Lockbox

2017-03-10 - Priority Date for all cases  

2017-03-20 - USCIS cashed the check

2017-03-23 - Received four notices - I-130 / I-485 / I-765 / I-131

2017-03-27 - Received email that they are sending an RFIE notice

2017-03-31 - Lawyer received the RFIE yellow notice 

2017-04-03 - Response to RFIE mailed out today

2017-04-05 - Response to RFIE was delivered to NBC, Lee's Summit, MO 

2017-04-07 - USCIS acknowledged receipt of the reply to RFIE

I just filed my N-400 online ~23 hours after my window opened 😂 -- I'm in Austin, Texas and I got my 10-year GC earlier this year quite fast and unexpectedly due to COVID, I assume, with a waived interview requirement. The estimated processing time for the San Antonio, TX office (nearest office) is 8 to 11 months.

 

I had a really hard time because I filed on a Mac using Safari and it took 2-3 efforts to make sure that all submitted documents were there under evidence. Fingers crossed it will all go smoothly!

I filed online on August 1. Estimated case completion time for Atlanta is 11 months. I got my receipt notice in the mail the week after filing. The "Estimated Wait Time" box says: "We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time." but that's not gonna stop me from checking my account every day hoping for some update 😂

 

I also tried plugging in my receipt number into the Case Status Online tracker, but nothing comes up. I'm not gonna stress about it though... I got my 10 year green card earlier this summer (I-751 somehow got approved in only 7 months) so this will just take however long it takes. Sure will be nice to be done with USCIS forever though!

Our receipt number also does not show up, we also filed on the 1st

Just submitted based on the three year rule and within 90 days early filing of my 3 years of being a PR. Still waiting on my ROC interview so expecting a combo interview.
