Can anyone tell me what typical questions are asked at the interview. Mine and my wife's interview is next month, we'd like to practice some questions so her English will be more proficient. Also, how common is it for them to interview couples separately. I've heard from others that they sometimes interview the couple seperately. Thanks for any help.

There is a whole series of them in the Guides Section. I hate to say this, but, read the guides. Every office is different and every interviewer is different. Plan for a lot and get asked very little. We were only asked how we met and we were approved. But that was Buffalo. Good luck.

No longer in the hands of the USCIS, for my wife at least, next up MIL.

I remember that I found this site (VJ) looking for interview questions for our K1 visa. I went back and did a search on AOS and Greencard interview questions. I found this thread, in which YuDan posted something that might be of interest to you:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69731

I hope you find it helpful. I will add however that the interviews can be so varied, nyhaz said. I went through this before and all the officer asked besides when and where we married, were the 20 or so questions on the form that asks if they plan to be involved in some sort of shady behavior, such as running drugs or espionage. I think that like the visa interviews, how indepth they go and whether or not they separate you depends on their feelings about the relationship initially.

In the end, if your relationship is valid, it shouldn't be a problem no matter how many questions or how bizarre the questions. I hope you find the link helpful and I'll let you know how our interview goes. We are in the same city, interviewing just a few days or so before you I think. (wondered what happened to you..haven't seen you on the april filers thread for awhile!)

what about the separate interviews?
It is not too common for them to do the separate interviews unless they suspect visa fraud, then they perform the separate interviews asking similar questions of the two people and then compare the answers.

This type of interrogation is known as an (ICE) interview, for Immigrations and Customs Enforcement.

At the Tampa office, they were bringing a LOT of people in separately.

Actually its more commonly known as a "Stokes Interview". I've never heard it called an "ICE Interview" before, where did you hear that? Its got nothing to do with ICE.
