I know there are not any news yet on this but...

I see people saying this will possibly only affect DACA? Or work related GC?

I want to know if you guys think it will also affect obtaining marriage GC. Do you think they will be changing to a merit based system even for marriage based GC?

I know, I just wanted to know what most people think. It worries me that some are saying it will also affect marriage based AOS.

If you want to go read what people think then go read a couple of the other threads on this. Also Merit based immigration usually doesn't affect spouses of USCs.

I'll be honest a shift like this isn't simply restricting the current rules. So I do not believe this would be ruled constitutional. The President cannot unilaterally change Visa laws.

There is no proof that any EO will be signed.... Changing immigration system is complex and has to go through congress... I don't see any reason why it should raise dust at all... There's been talk that DACA will be canceled, it went through hard times but it's still here today. Let's not make up problems in our heads but solve them as they come.

Merit based immigration is a "logical" concept, one that has been used in many European countries with positive results,

We use emotion here in the USA, not logic, so you have nothing to worry about.
