i'm just spinning you up alex, it's fun to do

Spinning me up? Is that like winding me up?

:yes::devil:

Plucking Mrs Ostrich, one feather at a time... :P

poink! poink! poink! now what to do with all these feathers

A man goes on an Indian reservation and sees an Indian with a feather on his head.

The man asks the Indian why he has a feather on his head and the Indian replies

"I fuсk one squaw!"

The next day the man sees him with two feathers and asks why he has two feathers

and he replies, "I fuсk two squaw!"

A week goes by and the man sees the Indian with all these feathers all over his body,

the man say why do you have all these feathers on your body and the Indian happily

replies "I big chief, I fuсk all squaw!!!"

The man asked, "Wow, isn't that a little bit hostile?"

The Indian says, "hostile, doggy-style, any style!!!"

The man says "Oh dear!"

The Indian says, "No deer, аss too high, run too fast!"

 i am sending that one to Zuni

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I guess it surprises me that our presidents are mostly from the south when I would think that similar prejudices would exist from a New Englander looking at a Texan, as vice versa.

Starting from 1900 onwards:

Theodore Roosevelt - NY

Taft - Ohio

Wilson - NJ

Harding - Ohio

Coolidge - Massachusettes

Hoover - Iowa/NY

FDR - NY

Truman - Missouri

Esisenhower - Texas

JFK - Massachusettes

Johnson - Texas

Nixon - California

Ford - Nebraska

Carter - Georgia

Reagan - Illinois/California

Bush Sr - Texas

Clinton - Arkansas

GWB - Texas

The last 18 presidents & only SIX are from the South. Generalizations aren't nice.

I don't know what exactly was not nice about what I said. I do think that presidents from the south is a growing trend that will continue.

Let's see.

The front-running Dems right now are Hilary (NY) and Obama (IL).

Front-running Pubs right now are Romney (MA) and Guliani (NY).

Basically, US Presidents from South is no more a trend than Canadian PM's from QC.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I was unware there was an anti-New York bias. What's the bias?

Didn't you notice how many people here hate New York?

I lived there. I don't hate it but I'm not that fond of it.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Senate Floor Speech on Public Debt

I'm from upstate NY. I like NYC as a place to visit, and I refuse to go to Long Island. I'd never live in the city, and as far as their politics in NYC & Long Island go, I'm pretty sure it would be better if they broke off and made their own state. Politicians from NYC are self-absorbed buttholes. Politicians from downstate have tried to get initiatives passed to subsidize the subway system (excuse me, living 3 hours from the city, I am NOT paying for their subway), oh and trying to make us pay for the NY Giants stadium they wanted to build in the middle of the city. (Again, three hours away.)

I understand the anti-NY bias. I really do. I've been treated rudely in the city more than I ever was in my city (people in FL are pretty rude and NYC has them beat).

I'd love to see people acknowledge that NYC & Long Island are completely different from the rest of the state. Really. The upstate NYers (most of them that I talk to anyway) are regretting their decision to vote for Hillary Clinton if they did. They don't like Bloomberg (Guiliani...well, he was okay).

I think the fact that NYC & Long Island are attached to the state is the one big reason I won't be moving back to NY. I like my city - Albany - and the surround areas, but taxes just keep going higher, the politics keep getting worse and I'm sure the city has a lot to do with it. I'll go to PA or CT ... but not back to NY. Which is sad, because upstate is such a nice place.

this is the way the world ends

this is the way the world ends

this is the way the world ends

not with a bang but a whimper

Wasn't "kemosabe" essentially a TV-invented term for the series "Lone Ranger"?
