Hello everyone, I am a naturalized American citizen born in Cuba. Almost a year ago I started a petition on behalf of my mom that according to proccesing times should finish by this year 2020. Covid 19 arrived, so everything stopped. My question is, did a loose the money I have spent in this whole process. Could I bring her to this great country in a near future.

Not before Jan 2021 per the current ban. 

 

But you can process all the way through NVC and hope for interview in 2021.

It didn't necessarily stop it is more put on hold; you didn't lose your money ; things should pick up in 2021

Apply for Social Security Card: 12/30/14 Connecticut

Marriage: 1/26/15
