Got an email notification from USCIS this morning that an action has been taken on my case. My online account now shows that my interview has been scheduled. The documents tab does not have the letter yet...but their note does say it will take a few days for it to show.

Hang in there guys...there finally seems to be some movement for naturalization cases in the Philadelphia office.

Applied end of Nov 2019.

Blueamber did you end up calling them? What did they say?

Hi PillyNatz, I just called USCIS this morning...waited for 40 mins and got no useful answer other than the same information I can find on the web. I did try to ask the question of 'where' is my application. I was told applications received by Philly office always stay at Philly office for review and everything. The call center does not receive any information on why some cases were scheduled with interviews and others are not yet...🥺

Pretty much, other than patiently wait, there is nothing I can do...

I’m convinced it’s pointless to contact Uscis...I messaged them and this was the response I got below.

Requesting information about your N-400, Application for Naturalization.

Our system shows that your N-400 application, which was filed approximately January 25, 2020, is pending and is within our current processing time. To determine current processing time within USCIS:

  • Visit https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
  • Select N-400, Application for Naturalization, from the Form dropdown
  • Select the Field Office processing the application from the Field Office dropdown
  • Click “Get Processing Time” link

If your receipt date is before the Case Inquiry Date, you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online.

Yeah I’ve just emailed them too and expect the same response.  Will let you know what they say.

Atleast maybe it may prompt them to look at the application?

How long did they take to reply?

I thought the same...hopefully it does prompt them to. I sent the message on the 30th of September.

Don’t have the answer to your question but that’s great to hear. Maybe sending them an email helped!
