I wanted to share my timeline with the Philadelphia FO. I applied November 18th and still waiting. I've been looking at cases for the Philly FO and a lot of people from September 2024 are still waiting to get an interview scheduled.

I applied a few days after you, on Nov 25th. Would be great if we heard something in Feb or the beginning of March!

I am a little superstitious about certain things and I want to keep my date private but it is in the first two weeks of March!

Just an update on my case. I noticed my case was updated on 1/7/25. Today, I noticed that my case was touched again and my "my progress" tab disappeared. I contacted Emma and the agent said, "The office placed you in the interview scheduling queue for an interview on 01/07/2025. The appointment has not been scheduled yet. USCIS will mail you a notice informing you of where and when your scheduled interview appointment is. Please make sure you bring your notice with you and to arrive on time to your appointment. Also, follow the instructions on the notice carefully, particularly if you are required to bring any documentation."

So looks like preliminary checks have finished and now I just have to wait to get through the scheduling queue!

This can be safely ignored. MyProgress has constant outages, appearing and disappearing for subsets of users from time to time.

I know... That wasn't my main point.

I'm making sure nobody misinterprets that MyProgress appearing or disappearing has anything to do with case actually progressing. It disappears and appears independently for many cases sitting still without any updates.

Hopefully Emma told you some real information, half of the time it's made up. Whatever they told you looks too optimistic. You only filed in November 2024, and as you know many September and even July 2024 filers are waiting for interview.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Current processing times for Philadelphia is 7.5 months - https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

While that information is also super unreliable, most of the times cases take at least the stated processing time.

So for Philadelphia filers in November 2024, I wouldn't expect many interviews until 6-7 months into the process, which lands us in May-June of 2025.
