Hello all,

So my EAD is expiring on the 24th of this month and I am in a crazy situation –– I sent in my renewal back in April and it was delivered, but Lockbox said that they don't have it on file, I only found this out last week! I know I shouldn't have waited this long to inquire, but I thought that due to furloughs and COVID and such my NOA was just delayed.

So, last week (Thursday 7/9) I FEDEX'd my application and guess what, it still hasn't delivered. It's stuck in Chicago, but that's ok I realised I had missed one document anyway. So on Monday (7/13) I resend everything for the third time using USPS Priority Express Mail and it was guaranteed supposed to get delivered yesterday (7/14) 12 pm but there has been NO updates in tracking in 22 hours now. I can't help but have a panic attack so I'm just preparing to resend everything again if it doesn't get there today!

I just have one simple question ––

As long as I send all the correct documents BEFORE my EAD expiration date and it reaches the Lockbox, I won't lose my 180 day extension right (I am pending AOS C9 category)? That's all I want to know at this point.

Please and thank you for any help, I am so so anxious, and I know it's my fault for not inquiring sooner.
