Let’s wait and see. At this point they didn’t reveal their plans about approved petitions yet, and even if such executive order is signed I’m sure it would be challenged in court because it’s such a major legislative change. One thing is a temp ban due to Covid, and completely different issue is a permanent change like this. But I understand how you feel, my mom is in limbo because of the current ban on IR-5 visas.

Agree, for changing whole system thy have to go to congress, 

it wil b not easy for thm to stop approved petitions
