DNA test in Haiti

I am the USC Have anyone got a rfe for evidence to prove father and child relationship? What do they actually need? Neither child mother has been in their life my husband has had them from 2 days old the other a week old. They are 7 and 8 now. I sent the birth cert I just don't know what else to send. Thank you

The RFE usually lists the type of information/documentation they are looking for, and they can do dna tests (has to be at an AABB DoS/uscis accredited dna lab)

Yes I seen DNA but I'm Haiti there is no way to get that done and back to USCIS by the 23rd it also mentioned child support and other things that Haiti had no clue what those things are.

Well, when did you get the RFE? and is the 23rd the date on the RFE or the extended Covid date (60 days past the date on the RFE)? If you don't have any documents DNA is the only option. How long did the lab say it would take for the sample to get from the Haiti lab to the US?

The rfe was July 7th the letter said to answer by July 23rd. We haven't asked about the DNA and there is no lab from Haiti to us my husband would have to scan that's why I was asking anyone in Haiti experience this so I can know what to do

When i do a google search on "aabb dna lab haiti" it brings up labs in Haiti. example https://immigrationdnatesting.us/country/haiti-immigration-dna-testing/ says it has a partner lab in Haiti. Of course you should confirm it is linked to an accredited AABB lab on the list linked from the RFE.

 

Also you posted this in a general thread, if you want a Haiti specific experience either start a new thread with that in the title or post in the relevant regional forum.
