Bogota, Colombia visa news

The US Embassy in Bogota, Colombia is hosting a live event on Wednesday, July 15th (tomorrow) at 11am GMT -5 Bogota time to discuss and reveal their plans for visas.

The information is on their Twitter, so I imagine they'll open a Periscope on their Twitter to watch it live, and also on the official Facebook page.

Muchas gracias!

It would be a true disappointment if they hold this just to say "we don't have a date."  So I really expect we'll get some information tomorrow.

Hopefully they don't extend the border closure past August 31st, that could really complicate things for us.

Well, hopefully they will give useful and positive information. The virtual U.S. embassy of Venezuela did it once. And was just ridiculous because they just said that. “We don’t know.. we don’t have a date”. and blah blah..

I was like.. Ok why do you make this live transmissions just to say what we can read by ourselves in all the department of state post. It was so frustrating.

That would really be a disaster.  I follow their Twitter account quite closely, it seems a majority of their questions are about Student and Spouse visas at the moment.  Not so much about tourist or other things at the moment.  Hoping for good news!
